Meet Cleo S. Riffey D.C.
“We love skeptics,” says Dr. Cleo. “I understand the doubts; I had my own when I first sought treatment. That’s why we make it a point to explain everything thoroughly and demonstrate our methods before starting care. Our motto is to treat each patient with the same level of care we’d want for ourselves.”
As a college student, I struggled with chronic back pain for two years, visiting doctor after doctor with no lasting relief. On the verge of graduation as a teacher, I finally found a chiropractor. I was fascinated by the idea of healing the whole body by restoring nerve function to alleviate symptoms. I now understand firsthand what it’s like to live with chronic pain and the relief that comes from effective care.
After graduating from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, I pursued my chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where I graduated with honors and was honored to teach there. I have been an Advanced Proficiency-rated practitioner in the Activator Method for many years, with additional background in Applied Kinesiology.
Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about teaching stress reduction and energetic balancing techniques, both to my patients and the broader community. I am also the author of Transforming Stress to Wonder: The Wondershift Process, which introduces my unique method for reducing stress and creating positive shifts in life.
In our practice we also became aware of the fact that the mind/body connection and knowledge of the acupuncture system was very important in helping people out of pain.
I wrote the book, Transforming Stress to Wonder, The Wondershift Process, as a self help guide in assisting people to learn how they to can work their own miracles.
Our California adventure started in 1990. We moved our two children to northern California from Tulsa, Oklahoma. They thrived on the California sun and regular adjustments. Since then we have enjoyed bringing health solutions to our wonderful patients. We continue to follow a path rich with training and information in advanced and diverse areas of healing.
Our quest is to help more people rely less on drugs and more on their own inner strength to be and stay well.

Meet Aaron Lyon, D.C.
Dr. Aaron Lyon is driven by a passion for helping others and striving for excellence. From a young age, he knew he wanted to be a doctor. His commitment to leadership and service is evident in his achievement of Eagle Scout rank, leading his high school Cross Country team to a high ranking, and serving a two-year mission in North Carolina for his Church.
Before becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Lyon spent five years as a respected Construction Estimating professional. It was during this time that he was inspired by the body’s nervous system and a key mentor, which led him to pursue chiropractic care.
Dr. Lyon graduated from Life Chiropractic College West and earned Advanced Proficiency Rating in Activator Methods. Over his 11-year career, he has practiced in Yuba City, Vacaville, and Folsom, where he honed his expertise in corrective care. At Riffey Chiropractic, he specializes in Activator Methods and Bio Kinetic Health Systems. He attends Activator trainings annually to stay at the forefront of his field. Dr. Lyon has seen impressive results with sustained spinal corrections using the Activator instrument, and he strongly believes in the importance of personalized care and providing patients with home care instructions.
Dr. Lyon is passionate about the power of spinal corrections to reduce stress on the body’s frame, nerves, and muscles, allowing for better healing. He is eager to help people of all ages, from children to seniors.
Dr. Lyon is happily married to his wife, Susan, a CPA. They live in Jackson, CA. They have seven wonderful adult children. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and spending time by the ocean.
